At the end of last month, the Xiaomi Redmi sub-brand launched three new devices for the Chinese market: Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. These went on sale shortly after in the country and it seems they were very successful.
In just 13 days, Redmi reports that it has sold more than a million total units of the three smartphones through all of its sales channels combined. That reflects the popularity of the phone, which is easily explained by its price / function ratio.
Redmi has always been good at it and hasn’t budged one bit. Consider the fact that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has a huge 108 MP main camera sensor and starts at CNY 1,599 (roughly $ 244 or € 202).
Much of the success of the new trio appears to come in the first hours of availability, when more than 300,000 units were sold, as Redmi announced earlier this month. We’re still not sure if we’ll see the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G officially sold outside of China, but if you want a very similar device and are willing to give up a 108 MP camera, then the Mi 10T Lite 5G is the opposite. an exact copy, like the Poco M3 for the Redmi Note 9 4G.
